I really hate when you ask someone a question that's not a yes or no question and they respond w/ yes or no

What's wrong with wanting things to be present at a certain time? To me, that sounds both logical and purposeful.
I think I need more information....

[glow=maroon,2,300] Dave I understand what you're saying, but at the same time I can't say I want a new part for my car and walk outside expecting to find it. Granted I'm exagerating the way customers act but you get the point.
And even if them wanting something is the logical thing, it's ok to hate it anyway. When I go to work at DW I wish all the tourists would go away because I hate them, even though if they actually did go away I wouldn't have a job. Having a job sometimes means being illogical...
And as for things I hate: TOURISTS!!! [/glow]

Thank you Matt! I hate when each person you wait on makes the exact same comment for at least an hour

[glow=maroon,2,300] Well I know I get the same questions all the time. No matter how many times you explain why a six foot tall adult can't ride the windmill there are still more tourists out there who want to try it. [/glow]

You could always tell them that and when they insist, let them go on so they can see the repercussions of their stupidity. You might get fired, but one adult may become less ignorant.

Then let them go until one gets their head cut off. Or something. Then no one will do it. You'll definitely be out of work then but. . . eh. :: shrug. ::
